Courtney is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) with over 15 years of experience working with adults and children experiencing trauma. Courtney earned her Master of Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles and holds a Bachelors degree in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Vermont. 


Courtney specializes in working with adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression, with a focus on responses to trauma, grief, and domestic violence (past or present).


Courtney works from a strengths-based perspective, seeking to highlight and draw solutions based in her client's strengths. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches - such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices.


Prior to earning her MSW, Courtney had an extensive career in social work, providing case management, program oversight, and crisis intervention to women experiencing trauma, severe and persistent mental illness, substance abuse disorders, and domestic violence.  


Courtney lives in Los Angeles with her partner of 15 years and two young children.
