About Courtney Beamer
Courtney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience working with adults and children. She specializes in the treatment of Anxiety, OCD, Trauma, Chronic Pain, and Grief & Loss using evidence-based treatments.
Courtney works from a strengths-based perspective, seeking to highlight and draw solutions based in her client's strengths. She is trained in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT).
Courtney earned her Master of Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles and holds a BA in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Vermont.
Prior to earning her MSW, Courtney had an extensive career in social work, providing case management, program oversight, and crisis intervention to women experiencing trauma, severe and persistent mental illness, substance abuse disorders, and domestic violence.
