About Beth Welch

Beth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who works with  children, teens, families, and adults.

She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, and grief & loss. She is highly-skilled in and loves working with the entire family unit. 

In her work with clients, Beth utilizes family systems therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT),a client-centered approach and she is also a Brainspotting practitioner. Beth is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.

Beth has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including: community mental health centers, where she worked as a Multidimensional Family Therapist (MDFT), school-based counseling, residential treatment for adolescents, substance abuse treatment programs, and private practice.

She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education

from the University  of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She obtained a Master's Degree in Child Life from the University of La Verne. While working as a Certified Child Life Specialist, Beth pursued her dream  of becoming a therapist. She earned her Master in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute.
